Dating back to 1952, Excite CU was formed to support the employees and communities of the General Electric Nuclear Division. Now $700 million in assets strong and operating in Silicon Valley, CA and Wilmington, NC, Excite Credit Union is an established leader in local philanthropy while serving 46,000 members. Excite Foundation was established in 2020 to extend the impact that the Credit Union and our Members can have on amplifying the key cooperative principles common to all credit unions: Financial Education and Inclusion and Concern for Community. The Foundation operates independently of the Credit Union, while enjoying the pro-bono support and expertise of the Excite staff.
